The people are friendly and polite and they don't have a warped view of the outside world because most of them have actually been abroad. To me it has all the good things about mainland China without the crap. I remember being in a bar and this girl started chatting with me and being used to Shanghai I naturally assumed she was a hooker and was a bit embarrassed when I asked her what she did and she said she was an account manager at McCann Erickson.
