There were probably 15,000 in the audience for the show. Most of those were Chinese tourists or DPRK citizens. Other foreigners couldn’t have been more than 50, with our tour group being 25 of them.
It is absolutely fascinating how few people are in the background of your pictures (as if no one actually lives in North Korea). What a trip that must have been. Thanks for sharing.
And, yes, it has been awhile. I think we probably have far more in common now than we did living in the same town 20 years ago. So, yes, we should definitely try to catch up whether in China or San Francisco. I hope my husband’s work will take us to China at some point in the next few years and I would love to look you up.
